Booking and deposits
A $200 deposit is required to reserve your date. The deposit holds the date on Capt. Jesse’s calendar, and other anglers are turned away for that day. The remaining balance is due on the day of your trip by cash, Venmo, or card.
Cancellation by you
- More than 7 days before your trip: your deposit is refunded, or you can move it to new dates.
- Within 7 days of your trip: your deposit is forfeited, unless weather makes the trip unsafe (see below).
- No-show: if you don’t arrive at the confirmed launch location at the scheduled time and haven’t been in touch, your deposit is forfeited.
If something comes up, call or text as early as you can. Capt. Jesse will always try to find new dates that work.
Weather and cancellation by Flyin’ High Charters
The Florida Keys can be unpredictable. Safety and the quality of your day come first.
- Weather calls: the decision to cancel or reschedule because of weather, sea conditions, or other unsafe conditions is made by Capt. Jesse.
- Your options: if Capt. Jesse cancels for weather or another reason on our side, you can reschedule or receive a full refund of your deposit.
- Travel costs: Flyin’ High Charters is not responsible for travel, lodging, or other expenses connected to a cancelled or rescheduled trip. Travel insurance is a good idea for trips planned around a specific window, like peak tarpon season.
